Covid-19 Update

At Axis we’re passionate believers in the role of local press. For 17 years now our independent monthly magazine has been a trusted source of information on major local news issues, while also offering news from our high streets and local businesses, ideas for dining out and for leisure time.

Life is likely to be restricted for some time to come, but in uncertain times we feel our role in keeping the community connected and informed of the issues that matter; and in supporting local businesses, charities, venues and the arts, is more important than ever.

We intend to publish, come what may – while recognising that this might not always be easy. We’re a small team, and restrictions on us all are constantly changing.

If you regularly receive the magazine but in the coming months it proves impossible for us to get a copy to your home, or if venues where you would usually collect a copy are closed, rest assured you’ll always find the latest issue online here. You’ll also be able to contact us using the links on this site.
